
Stay at Harding Homestead
Harding homestead is a newly renovated and restored stone farmhouse that dates back to the early 1900s, while renovated with modern features throughout, it retains its olden day charm for our guests to enjoy.
The local district is rich in history with many places to visit and explore.

Venture further into the flinders ranges with Hawker; The gateway to the Flinders being only 150kms away.
The famous Clare Valley wine region is only 105km away, an easy day trip.
If a scenic drive throughout the region is more up your alley there are many other interesting towns to visit ranging in distance from 5km to 100km including, Yongala, Melrose, Wilmington, Terowie, Booleroo Centre, Burra, Hallet and Port Pirie. The options are endless and can take you from rolling vineyards to coastal ranges with thriving farming land in between.
Garden landscaping at the homestead is still in progress however there are large wide verandas, an (artificial )grass area with large shady trees, and sunny enclosed verandas to relax.
There are outer buildings/areas still under construction and repair and it is asked that for your safety do not enter these areas.
Our cosy homestead features all the comforts required in your home away from home: 2 wood-fuelled heaters (wood provided) fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (1 bath), washing machine & dryer, towels, linen, pillows & light blankets only ( you will need to bring extra warm bedding ) TVs, fridge, freezer and a supply of tea coffee sugar.
The Homestead has 4 bedrooms (3 queen beds, 1 double, 1 single and a smaller single day bed. It can sleep, 9/10 persons
Mobile service is ok within some areas of the house, however, you may need to be outside for better service.
At the entrance to the property are gates that are to be kept closed at all times to keep all residents within the grounds. Horse and cattle reside on the property and for your safety, it is asked that you do not enter their paddocks.
Harding Homestead is set off the bitumen road from Jamestown to Peterborough and is located between Mannanarie and Yongala .. the address is ---- Beniah Road .. GPS may take you to the old entrance .. an arrow will direct you from here to the new entrance.
The gate will be unlocked ( but closed ) for your arrival.
Pets are permitted at Harding homestead .. however, conditions apply if you wish to bring pets please ask for our pet policy form before booking.
